Description
A revolver I just picked up today. A Nagant M1895 double action revolver. It shoots the 7.62 x 38R Nagant round which is the weirdest looking bullets I've ever seen. You can see them loaded into the chambers in this pic. The bullet is actually down inside the shell casing.
Two things I really like about this revolver is it was made in the Izhevsk arsenal, the same arsenal my Mosin-Nagant M91/30 was made at. And it's marked 1945 the end of World War II. These old revolvers were produced up til the end of the war.
